Powerride
Tributebandet Powerride startet opp i høsten 2008. Det består av medlemmer fra bla Groms, James Band og Grand Lux. Vi har base på Samsen i Kristiansand. Vi spiller melodiøs og god hard rock stort sett hentet fra det glade 80’tallet. Vi er innom band som Guns ’n Roses, Maiden, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Dio, Kiss, Wasp og Zeppelin på vår settliste. Det er de låtene vi alltid har drømt om å spille og du alltid har drømt om å stå å skriksynge til på konsert….
Tidligere har vi spilt på skoler, bikerklubber, rockeklubber, puber og fester.
Målet vårt er å gi folk frysninger i Immigrant Song, danse til Bad Name, bange til Powerslave og brølesynge til Crazy Night. Om vi ikke kan fjerne rynker, kommer du i alle fall til å føle deg like ung som du var når disse låtene ble spilt på ”Ti i skuddet”

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
