TNT – norsk rocks kraftmotor girer opp og holder både turtall og ytelse høyt når de nå raser inn på kiosker og bensinstasjoner i helt ny innpakning.
Hva får man om man krysser en vokalist med nystartet hjerte, et råskinn av en trommis, en perfeksjonist av en bassist, en gudbenådet kirkemusiker med musikk skapt av en av verdens ypperste kultgitarister? Jo, da får du et uforfalsket TNT i storform. Bandet som ikke bare har rocka Norge, men også er et av de få norske rockebanda som kan se tilbake på betydelig internasjonal suksess, har igjen fyrt opp maskineriet.
Nå er de på beddinga med sitt første album siden 2008 og det i en helt ny innpakning som kun skal selges i kiosker og på bensinstasjoner. Av den grunn har de produsert et helt eget magasin som også innholder den nye skiva ENGINE. Morten Diesel Dahl forteller at det har vært et ønske å få fortelle historiene om bandet og om den nye utgivelsen i et godt lesbart format som også yter bildematerialet større rettferdighet enn en liten booklet inne i CD-coveret.
Musikken du finner på ENGINE er rett og slett klassisk TNT. Det er høyt turtall og tunge hestekrefter paret med låter som maler som en nysmørt Harley i solnedgangen. Så det er tydelig at Ronni Le Tekrø har vært tro mot TNTs røtter når han produsert musikken på den nye skiva ENGINE. Han forteller selv at TNT her fremstår slik han personlig vil at bandet skal lyde. Faktisk har han hentet fram den gamle, svarte Knightsfjæla, en gitar han ikke har brukt siden ”Realized Fantasies”. Denne gangen er den med hele tiden og Ronni lokker et mangfold av lyder ut av den. Det betyr genuin gitarbehandling fremfor synther. Kort sagt har Ronni vært opptatt av hvor TNT kommer ifra samtidig som han tilfører nye spennende temaer. Han skryter også av Tony Mills vokalkvaliteter og tekstbidrag, samt alt det de øvrige medlemmer har bidratt med for å skape det ultimate TNT-album.
TNTs nye album er et rent fyrverkeri av norsk rock og derfor skjer lansering i romjulen. Det eneste tidspunktet hvor fyrverkeri er tillatt solgt her til lands. Datoen er 27. desember. Den første muligheten til å se bandet live med det nye materialet blir 21. januar på Rockefeller, Oslo.
